- Lung cancer remains the leading cause of cancer-related mortality worldwide and continues to represent a major clinical and public health challenge. In recent years, the therapeutic landscape of thoracic oncology has rapidly evolved, driven by advances in molecular characterization, immunotherapy, antibody–drug conjugates (adcs), bispecific antibodies, and innovative targeted strategies. These developments require continuous updating and multidisciplinary integration to ensure optimal patient management.
The 5th international summit on lung cancer aims to provide a structured and evidence-based update on the management of small-cell lung cancer (sclc), early-stage and locally advanced non-small cell lung cancer (nsclc), and metastatic oncogene-addicted and non-oncogene-addicted disease.
