- Over the last 10 years, the perspective on cardiac amyloidosis has deeply changed, following major advances in diagnosis and treatment options.
This heterogeneous disease requires a strict interaction among experts of different specialties and subspecialties. As we know, suspicion of disease, timely recognition and confirmation of final diagnosis, prognostic stratification, overall management and therapeutic strategies represent ongoing challenges for the modern cardiology.
Cases presentation will be useful in understanding the “real life” of the disease management.
A particular attention will be given to the costs and sustainability of new treatments for the public health systems.
