- The course aims to translate evidence into practical decisions regarding prophylaxis, rational empiric therapy, de-escalation, and stewardship. Another key objective is to foster a lasting, interactive community of practice among infectious disease physicians, clinical microbiologists, and other specialists caring for immunocompromised patients. This forum will enable participants to compare approaches, discuss challenging cases, and define shared standards ultimately reducing morbidity, resistance, and costs while improving patient outcomes.
