- Some years ago “safeguarding human health in the anthropocene epo- ch”, a publication of the rockefeller foundation-lancet commission report, proposed to shift from usual segmented approaches to improving human health to a systems approach, the so called planetary health. This appro- ach stresses the necessity of interconnecting human health with the heal- th of the global planetary ecosystem, because, in truth, they are just one. Therefore, more subjects, apart from human health, should be considered, such as climate changes; energy transition; circular economy and nutrition, without forgetting social themes such as inclusion and equality. The role of novel instruments (artificial intelligence, quantum technologies) to sup- port the actions to reach the final objectives requires a specific attention to identify their safe role with open mind.
