- Rasp requires a specific learning curve, precise knowledge of pelvic and prostatic surgical anatomy, and dedicated management of the critical steps of the procedure (enucleation, haemostasis of the adenomatous bed, reconstruction of the capsule and bladder neck).
The course aims to provide participants with the theoretical and practical skills needed to implement the rasp technique in daily clinical practice, with particular attention to patient selection, robotic and instrumental setting, step-by-step surgical technique and management of complications.

- Large-volume benign prostatic hyperplasia (bph) still represents a therapeutic challenge: when gland size exceeds the limits treatable with conventional endoscopic techniques, adenomectomy often remains the only surgical option able to guarantee a radical resolution of the obstruction.
Robotic surgery has profoundly changed the approach to prostatic adenomectomy: robot assisted simple prostatectomy (rasp) combines the oncological and functional radicality of the open technique with the minimal invasiveness of the robot-assisted approach, reducing intraoperative bleeding, hospital stay and recovery time compared with open surgery.
