As far as clinical nephrology is concerned, considering the new therapeutics approach that has recently entered everyday use in clinical practice, we will focus our attention on the “new era of gn treatment” (primary and secondary gns). The first day of the meeting is dedicated to presenting and discussing the new scheme of therapeutic approach to membranous nephropathy, mcd and fsgs, iga nephropathy, lupus nephritis, anca related vasculitis, mcgn, and dkd.

After fourteen years the international meeting with mayo clinic is now in its seventh edition.
Thanks to the experience acquired in the past six editions and the appreciation expressed by participants other than the lecturers’ high quality for the debate, we are encouraged to extend the time dedicated to the discussion for each topic. During the upcoming edition of the meeting, furthermore, the structural organization of each subject recently debated at major international conferences will be prevalent, featuring 25-minutes lectures followed by 25-minutes discussions with two young chairs and an expert “strong” panel of discussants plus audience discussion.

- The focus will be on all new immunosuppressive drugs used in the therapy of induction and maintenance of the above-listed glomerulonephritis, such as new biologic drugs, anti-baff therapy, anti-complement therapies and also new anticalcineurin drugs and others. Concerning glomerulonephritis (and dkd), the focus will also be on the anti-progression of renal damage drugs such as sglt2 inhibitors, anti-endothelin, and non-steroidal selective mra. All new therapies, such as semaglutide and glp-1 receptor agonists, ace inhibitors, sartans and other new prospective therapies still under research will be addressed.
