- Scientific evidence shows that the modulation of tumor metabolism influences crucial properties of human malignancies. In detail, modulating systemic and intratumor metabolism could improve the efficacy and tolerability of cytotoxic chemotherapy, immune checkpoint inhibitors, adc’s, bispecific antibodies, cdk4/6i, pi3k/akt/mtorc inhibitors. Objective of this course, is to bring together experts in the fields of cancer metabolism, immunology and innovative anticancer drugs, with the aim of discussing the most recent advances and future clinical perspectives of metabolic approaches. Speakers will focus on experimental strategies that impact on cancer cell biology and on the activation status of the immune system through the modulation of host and tumor metabolism. The speakers will also focus on the effects of available or experimental pharmacologic therapies on the metabolism of the host, and discuss how to properly manage metabolic toxicities to improve their antitumor activity
