- Although knowledge about monogenic and polygenic autoinflammatory diseases has significantly improved in recent years, available data on the clinical expression of these rare conditions remain limited, and further research—particularly in adult populations—is still required. To address this gap, the aida project (autoinflammatory diseases alliance) was established with the goal of overcoming the fragmentation of knowledge in this field by promoting the sharing of clinical data and experiences among different centers. As part of this initiative, a web-based platform has been developed to host several registries dedicated to the prospective collection of clinical, laboratory, and therapeutic data related to these diseases. The aida seminars are designed to present physicians and researchers involved in the project with both the theoretical framework and the practical aspects of the initiative.
