- Although considerable advances have been achieved in the understanding of both monogenic and polygenic autoinflammatory diseases, the available information regarding the clinical manifestations of these rare disorders is still limited, especially in adult patients, indicating the need for further investigation. In response to this need, the aida project (autoinflammatory diseases alliance) was created with the aim of overcoming the fragmentation of knowledge by encouraging the exchange of clinical data and experiences among different medical centers. This initiative has resulted in the development of an online platform that includes multiple registries intended for the prospective collection of clinical, laboratory, and therapeutic data related to these conditions. The aida seminars are designed to offer healthcare professionals and researchers a comprehensive overview of both the theoretical basis and the practical aspects of the project.
